FAQ — Booking Cold Rush Band

Question 1

How far in advance should I book?

Accepted Answer

We recommend booking as early as possible — popular dates (especially Saturdays from May to September) fill up fast. We typically get booked 6–18 months in advance for weddings. That said, if you have a last-minute event, it's always worth getting in touch as we may have availability.

Question 2

How long do you perform for?

Accepted Answer

Our standard package includes two 60-minute live sets with a playlist in between, giving you approximately 3–4 hours of entertainment. We can tailor this to suit your event schedule — just let us know what you need when you enquire.

Question 3

Do you take song requests?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely! We love learning special songs for our clients. Whether it's a first dance, a favourite anthem or a surprise request, we'll do our best to accommodate it. Just let us know in advance so we have time to rehearse.

Question 4

What area do you cover?

Accepted Answer

We're based in the UK and cover the whole country. We've also performed internationally across Europe, including Italy, France and Spain. Travel costs may apply for events outside our local area — we'll always be upfront about this in our quote.

Question 5

What equipment do you bring?

Accepted Answer

We bring our own full PA system, lighting rig and backline. All you need to provide is a suitable performance space and power supply. We'll send you a full technical rider when you book so your venue knows exactly what to expect.

Question 6

How much space do you need?

Accepted Answer

We need a minimum performance area of approximately 5m x 4m for a full five-piece setup. We can adapt to smaller spaces if needed — just let us know your venue's dimensions and we'll work with you.

Question 7

Do you have public liability insurance?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we are fully insured with public liability insurance and all our equipment is PAT tested. We can provide documentation on request — most venues require this and we're happy to supply it.

Question 8

Can you play acoustic or quieter sets?

Accepted Answer

Yes — we offer an acoustic option for ceremonies, drinks receptions or venues with strict noise restrictions. This is a stripped-back, intimate performance that still delivers the Cold Rush energy, just at a lower volume.

Question 9

What happens if a band member is ill?

Accepted Answer

We have a network of trusted, professional musicians we work with. In the unlikely event that a band member is unable to perform, we will always find a suitable replacement to ensure your event goes ahead without a hitch.

Question 10

How do we secure a booking?

Accepted Answer

Simply fill in our enquiry form or give us a call. We'll confirm availability, send over a quote and, once you're happy, we'll ask for a deposit to secure your date. The remaining balance is due closer to the event.
